Riding

How do I request a ride?

Download the Cab-Connect rider app from the App Store or Google Play. Create your account, enter your destination, choose your vehicle type (Connect, Connect Plus, or Connect XL), and tap "Request Ride." A nearby driver will be matched with you - typically within minutes.

What vehicle types are available?

We offer four ride options: Connect (everyday sedan, 4 passengers), Connect Plus (premium comfort, 4 passengers), Connect XL (extra space, 6 passengers), and Connect SUV (premium large vehicle, 6 passengers). Each option shows an upfront fare estimate before you confirm.

How is pricing calculated?

Fares are calculated based on a base fare plus distance and time. You will see the full fare estimate before confirming your ride - no surprises. During periods of high demand, a surge multiplier may apply (up to 3x), and the adjusted fare is always shown upfront.

Can I schedule a ride in advance?

Yes! You can schedule rides up to 30 days in advance through the app. You can also set up recurring rides - daily, weekly, or weekdays only - perfect for regular commutes or standing appointments.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through the app. Payment is processed automatically at the end of your ride. You can also use your in-app digital wallet balance or apply promo codes for discounts.

Do you offer airport transfers?

Yes. We offer fixed-price routes to and from Nashville International Airport (BNA), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta (ATL), Chicago O'Hare (ORD), and Chicago Midway (MDW) so you know exactly what you'll pay.

Driving

What are the requirements to drive with Cab-Connect?

You must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license, have a 4-door vehicle no older than 15 years, carry valid auto insurance, and pass a comprehensive background check through Checkr (criminal history and motor vehicle records).

How do driver payouts work?

Drivers receive weekly payouts via Stripe direct deposit. You can track earnings in real time through the driver app - per-trip earnings, tips, daily totals, and weekly summaries.

Can I set my own schedule?

Yes. Drive whenever you want. There are no minimum hour requirements and no shift commitments. Go online when you're ready, go offline when you're done.

Do drivers keep 100% of tips?

Yes. 100% of passenger tips go directly to the driver. Cab-Connect takes no commission on tips.

Safety

Are drivers background-checked?

Yes. Every Cab-Connect driver passes a comprehensive background check through Checkr, including criminal history and motor vehicle records. Background checks are re-run annually.

What safety features are built into the app?

Real-time GPS tracking, ride PIN verification, phone number masking, trip sharing with friends and family, in-app emergency SOS button, and 24/7 support access.

Is my phone number shared with the driver?

No. Cab-Connect uses phone number masking through Twilio. Both numbers stay private.

Is there insurance coverage during rides?

Yes. All Cab-Connect rides are covered by commercial insurance from the moment a driver accepts your ride request until you are dropped off.

Payments

How does the digital wallet work?

Your in-app wallet lets you add funds, track your balance, and pay for rides. You can also receive referral bonuses and promo credits. Wallet balance is used automatically when you request a ride.

How do promo codes work?

Enter a promo code in the app's wallet section to add credits or unlock discounts.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel a ride for free within 2 minutes of requesting. After that, a small cancellation fee may apply.

Do you charge surge pricing?

During periods of high demand a surge multiplier may apply (up to 3x base fare), but the adjusted fare is always shown upfront before you confirm.
